With years of experience of owning and walking a huge variety of dogs I will ensure your dog has a fantastic walk when you’re not able to take them out!
I offer bespoke personalised small group dog walks in the Berkshire countryside on a daily basis.
My walks tend to be at lunchtime and prove incredibly popular due to the fact that I only walk a small number of dogs in one walk. Due to the small numbers walked it means everyone gets individual attention and all dogs can be watched thoroughly!
Each day we visit different places, that means you dog gets a different experience every day rather than visiting the same place at the same time every day.
Walks can take place in the woods, in parkland, by the river and near lakes. The duration will vary according to the weather and the ability of the dogs I have on the walk but generally last 45-60 minutes.
Because of the nature of a small group walk you will find that the dogs will be more tired in 45 minutes than an hour walking by themselves, usually because they end up spending a lot of time running and playing with each other!
I have a number of high energy dogs likes Cocker and Springer spaniels who I walk on a daily basis and they go home exhausted after their walks so I know what I’m doing is working!!!
If you are looking to hire a dog walker then please feel free to get in touch. We will arrange a meet and greet at your home to discuss your dog. We will also go out for a short walk where I can see how they interact with other dogs on the walk.
If they have any behavioural issues I may be able to offer help and advice with this, I also work with some talented dog trainers and behaviourists so I will gladly pass their details onto you as well.
Once the meet and greet is over we can arrange a trial walk where I will take them out with perhaps one other dog at first so they can get used to me. Once they are comfortable with this I will slowly introduce them to other dogs and Hopefully be able to match them with dogs of a similar age/energy level.
Dogs are transported in my custom fitted van where every dog has its own crate. Each crate has constant fresh water. The van has separate air conditioning and heating supplied just for the crates which enables them to be comfortable when travelling.
A first aid kit is kept within the van for any emergencies and I am Canine first aid trained. If you have multiple dogs then I can also offer exclusive private walks for your group.
Breeds of dogs I have experience with include German Shepherd, Labrador, Spaniels, Cockapoo, French and English Bulldogs, Chihuahua, Golden & Flat coat retrievers, Shiba Inu, Boxer, Pointer, Cairn, Scottish, Boarder, Wheaten Boston & Irish terriers, Doberman, Collies, Beagle, Labradoodle, Schnauzer, Greyhound, Whippet, Jack Russell, Pomerianian, Pug, Huskies, Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
