Dog Boarding in Reading & Caversham

Would you like your dog to stay in a home from home environment, with a garden to run around in and lots of walks and fun whilst you’re away?

Your furry friends will be in safe hands in a child free, pet free home, with a large enclosed garden. I also live very close to a woodland area and a park for lovely long walks.

Caversham Dogs is a great alternative to kennels as your dog becomes like a member of a new family with all the comforts of home. Your dog will be happy and secure and get all the exercise and love and attention they’re used to.

How does it work?

Ideally I would suggest we meet up and go for a walk with your dog, so I can observe how they are on & off lead, how they interact with other dogs and how they are at home. It also means that you can ask me any questions that you may have!

Meeting first is important for all parties involved, as you both need to feel a level of trust with me as otherwise you will never relax on your holiday!

We can then discuss their daily routine as I like to try and keep it as similar as possible.

If your planning to go away for a week or fortnights holiday then we would do a trail nights stay beforehand to ensure everything runs smoothly.

On successful completion of the trial you are then ready to go away with the peace of mind your dog will have an equally good time!

You will be required to provide their food, medication, leads, toys, treats and bedding etc.

Where will they stay?

This is a home from home environment. There are no kennels or crates for them to stay in (unless your dog already sleeps in a crate and if so, I will provide the same). They live in my home.

I do not have any children or pets living with me, just my husband who is a lover of dogs as much as me!

We have a large enclosed garden which is perfect for playing ball.

How much does it cost?

Prices vary but typically are £25 a night, bank holiday weekends will be more. No minimum nights.

What areas do you cover?

I am based in Caversham, Berkshire and can take dogs within a 30 mile radius. There may be an additional collection/drop off charge for locations over 10 miles away.
