I set up Caversham Dogs in 2017 after realising I had to turn my passion into my business!

I had previously worked for various companies who offered dog walking and Boarding services and I also used to work for a dog rescue centre.

Dogs have always been a large part of my life, having grown up with rescue dogs, German Shepherds and Boarder Collies. Both breeds renowned for needing a lot of mental and physical stimulation.

I am very lucky to work with some of the best dog trainers and behaviourists on a regular basis and have learnt an incredible amount working alongside them. I believe in force free, positive reinforcement methods when working with dogs…

Most recently I’ve completed my instructors course for teaching Canine Hoopers and any spare time I have I like to read up and attend workshops and seminars on subjects such as Canine behaviour, training, enrichment, puppy training & clicker training.

I do hold a dog boarding license and have been awarded 4 stars by Reading Borough Council. I am DBS checked, Canine first aid trained and hold all appropriate insurances for handling dogs.
